My name is Chris Hart, and I currently work as a TAC engineer on the Data Center Routing & Switching team at Cisco’s RTP campus. Before my current role at Cisco, I was an IT consultant serving small businesses in the Raleigh-Durham area. My passion for technology started as a small child, where my obsession with video games and computers evolved into an interest in all things IT. I’m always happy to have a conversation about technology, no matter the topic!
The beautiful thing about technology is that you are rarely the first person to run into a specific problem, and the beautiful thing about the technology community is that other people love to share their answers to problems! I created this website so that I can give back to the community by spreading information, sharing solutions to issues I encounter, and explaining technologies that I have become familiar with.
I hold a CCNA R&S certification and am currently studying for a CCNP R&S certification. I have two Associate’s degrees from Wake Technical Community College and currently attending East Carolina University to finish my Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Information and Computer Technology. I am familiar with a number of programming languages, but feel strongest in Python. Further down the road, I hope to obtain a CCIE R&S, CCIE Data Center, and eventually a CCDE.
